These World Centric® compostable clear lids for the 24/32 oz rectangular deli containers are made from PLA, a renewable material made from plants. Even though they are as light and strong as plastic, they will compost within 180 days in a commercial composting facility.  Our deli container lids are BPI® Certified Compostable, freezer-safe, and suitable for cold foods. Great for deli counters, takeout restaurants, and cafes.
