What Are Eco-Friendly PLA Clamshells Made From?

Eco-Friendly PLA Clamshells are made from corn. The cornstarch is heated and processed, and then molded into the shape of the clamshells. Since the PLA is derived from Corn, a natural plant, it does not contain any petroleum or other toxic chemicals. PLA Clamshells are biodegradable in a compost facility, and certified for composability by BPI®.
